Custom Knitted Personalized Christmas Stockings (Large)

Description

These custom-knitted fair isle Christmas stockings are perfect decor accents, or for use by the big guy himself. They are approximately 2 feet long and 7 inches wide, so they hold a lot of goodies! Have your chosen name knitted right into the cuff or at the top of the main body area (as in the red ones). There may be a limit to the number of characters I can do, based on size, but it will depend on the letters used. I can add accents like faux fur or yarn pompoms, sparkly yarn, etc.

These examples were all knitted in 3 ply acrylic yarn on my handknitting machines. They are able to be machine washed and dried (depending on the fiber – sparkly yarn is hand wash and hang dry only), and will withstand years of use. However, if you prefer wool or cotton, or a different blend of fibers, please message me and I can do that. (Prices will fluctuate if a different fiber is chosen.) There are floats inside (strands of yarn running behind the work, due to the nature of fair isle knitting) so if you would like the stocking lined with interfacing, I can do that as well, however we have a few of these at home, and the floats haven’t been an issue for Santa. He just has to be a little bit careful when he fills the stockings with something with corners.

Customization: The fair isle pattern can be customized to any number of things, not just what you see here. Trees, candy canes, dinosaurs, bananas – let your imagination run wild! The colours for this style are limited to two colours per single row, but any combination of any number of colours can be used in the overall design. Stripes, checks, buffalo plaid…there’s tons of options. Or if you prefer a single-colour stocking with an interesting knitted texture or single motif, that’s an option too. Don’t hesitate to ask if there is something specific you have in mind.

Please note that estimated delivery dates are only an estimate. It can take up to 14 days for these to be knit during my peak busy season (Sept. – Dec.), and shipping times vary by location and shipping method chosen. If you need your stocking by a certain date, please let me know in your order notes, and please leave plenty of time for shipping, particularly around the December holidays. Unfortunately I no longer ship these internationally without tracking owing to a few issues with packages going missing.
