The Malabar giant squirrel has colourful fur in natural shades of purple, orange, and other colors. Heather, the maker behind Rainbow Squirrel Handmade, is a big fan of tie-dye and rainbow colours, and thought a squirrel that looks tie-dyed would be a pretty perfect shop mascot!
